Vikkstar was born on August 2, 1995 in Guildford, England. His original name is Vikram Sing Barn. Vikki was born into a family of Indian origin. His parents have three children and vikki is the youngest of them.
He grew up in Sheffield and along with his brothers attended “Silverdale School”. He got an offer to study Natural Sciences at University College London but he turned down the offer to pursue his career as YouTuber and gamer. Vikki actively participated in video games with his friends during his childhood and teenage.

Vikkstar began his career on YouTube by creating his own channel on April 12, 2010. He began recording himself playing “Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2”. He then started posting videos on Youtube.
