It also comes with a price. The biggest disadvantage of using Fiverr is its competition.

There are already hundreds of established players in Fiverr and you need to stand out in the crowd to get noticed and bag offers.

After researching and studying 40 plus case studies we have listed three big mistakes that will stop you from making money from Fiverr.

1. Featured Image

When people are searching for a service, featured is the first thing that will create an impression. This also helps them to click on your gig to look for more information. The most less talked scenario here is CTR  Click Through Rate.

When your gig is getting an impression but only a few people are checking out your gig, Fiverr will lower your gig’s position in their search. whereas if you are getting more clicks, Fiverr algorithm recognizes your gig as one the which is loved by people and will give you a better position in the rankings.

The best way to post the image is to create curiosity.  Make sure your text in the featured image stands out from the crowd and give an offer that would tempt them to click to a gig to see more information.

2. Description 

Don’t say what you know, – write your solution to the client’s problem.

This is where most people make mistake. Evey clicks to your gig is an opportunity to make a sale and you could get repeated orders from your clients.

When he clicks your gig, the client is looking for a solution, so you will get more sales if you speak more about the solution to the problem and how the client will benefit from it.

3. Chat Experience 

This is the third step the client does before placing an order.

Common Mistake: Don’t speak, listen, and probe more.

The biggest and the most common mistake people do is, jumping to a conclusion on clients’ needs.

Listen to the client, and ask questions and then start answering, this will make an impact that you have understood the problem and you could give a good solution.

Addressing these problems could take only hours, but it could give you increase in impressions and conversions in quick time.

Now the second point is most important to note. When a reply to a gig in Fiverr lots of people commit mistakes by not mentioning the problem the client speaks out about.

What do they type? they simply reply like they have understood the problem and would give a good solution.

They never speak about what clients want and what they can provide. They will just send a blank reply.

This is where we tend to lose clients.

What is the proper way to reply?

1. Address the client’s problem by explaining more. This makes the client understand that you have understood the problem
2. Provide your route to the solution
3. Say your expertise in solving a similar problem like these. Explain something like you have a few year’s experiences in this and can be solved with ease.
4. In the end, provide a time frame.  Try to give a time frame with an explanation, this will increase the client’s trust and make him think that you can provide a good solution.
5. Give them more than what they ask for. This may not be applicable for every gig, but where ever possible try to give something free, in the lines of ebook and resources.

when you speak in the language of what the client is looking for and give something little more than expected you will receive good orders.

In recent years Instagram emerged as one of the best platforms to sell your products and affiliate products.

But the most important aspect is people spend a lot of money for very little return on investment.

If you are a newbie and if you don’t have money to spend on Instagram, it almost becomes impossible to make a dollar on Instagram.

But there is a method, where I successfully used to place affiliate links on other people’s profiles with paying them.

Yes, you can do it for free and can convince the Instagram accounts to place your links in their bio for a day, week, or sometimes even for a month.

Let me break the secret here: All I did was spent 2 days and read 20 to 30 articles from authority websites, rewrote the content, and converted it as an ebook. Then I approached the owners and requested placement of a link in their bio and a post in exchange for this free ebook.

Let me break my idea into different steps and explain how I did it.

Step 1: I decided on the affiliate product, searched, and shortlisted 200 plus accounts on the fitness niche. The whole world focuses on influencers. So I decided to focus on people who would get fewer offers to promote something on their Instagram profile. They are called micro-influencers, people with 1000 to 10,000 followers.

You could also approach people up to 30k followers for this strategy.

Step 2: I decided to offer an ebook for free but what kind of ebook I am going to give them. If I give them some normal stuff, I know I wouldn’t get a reply. So I wanted to raise their curiosity. So decided to write two books on the fitness niche and one book on how to grow Instagram followers quickly.

Now they are using Instagram and so everyone would be interested in increasing their followers. I made a small change here there are many methods and ideas on how to increase Instagram followers and if I titled the same way i would be getting less or no response.

so I read some cases studies and titled the book in the lines of 3k to 45k followers under 6 weeks – Case Study

Now everyone would be interested to know how it happened and when it’s free, you could get a good repsosne.

But the reality is I didn’t get the response I expected, Out of 100 I was expecting around 30 to 40 replies but all I got was 19.

Out of 19, 12 people were ready to get the book in exchange for the link in the bio.

I got 6477 visits to my affiliate link in 2 weeks and earned $623 in 2 weeks’ time. This is was all free and I didn’t spend a penny to drive the traffic.

The success of the idea lies in the title and content of the ebook, sp try to come up with different titles and contents to get a good response.

Generating traffic from free ebooks is one of the easiest and simplest methods to drive traffic to your affiliate and own products.

Before we get into the details lets discuss its advantages

1. You can create value in your ebook and gain that much-needed trust which will help you to get good conversions
2. You could warm your audience and explain to them how the product will work out and create enthusiasm.
3. The traffic is free and you don’t need to pay for it.
4. You could add as many as 20 affiliate links in an ebook
5. Since the ebook is free you could get lots of attention and downloads
6. One of the most important advantages is, you could collect lots of emails which can be used for further communication and selling.

Creating an ebook is not difficult and it is as simple as composing an email.  You could use Microsoft Word or google docs to write your article and then convert it into a pdf.

Here are the steps that will help you to create a successful ebook to drive traffic to your affiliate products.

Step 1: Solve a Problem

Don’t try to come up with basics or generic ebook like what is SEO, and books that explain the basic. Try to solve the problem.   Go to forums and communities and learn what’s the current problem and make list.

Step 2: Research 

Once you have identified the problems, research for the solution. Browse authority sites, youtube videos, and forums for solutions.

Step 3: List out the Audience and Products

Once you have found the solution, list out what kind of audience would require this solution. Then list out the affiliate products that could be added and get the affiliate link from the networks.

Step 4: The Writing Part 

Make sure you write at least 2000 words. A good book can have around 300o to 5000 words. Before start writing plan the structure and try to provide new solutions and value. This will help you to gain the trust and in turn, will help you to get a good conversation on your affiliate links.

Don’t try to place more than 20 links in the ebook. Don’t spam the ebook with the affiliate links. Try placing one kink every 200  to 200 words.

At the end of the ebook suggest ten products and list them with the affiliate links.

Step 5: The Title 

Title one of the most important aspect. Try to come up with a clickbait title or the one that will raise your audience’s expecation. Make sure you include the solution you found in the title. This will get you more downloads since the product is free.

Where you publish? 

Right, you have successfully completed your ebook, now you need a host to publish your ebook. although there are several good hosts I would prefer Gumroad .

Gumroad has the option where you can let the users pay as they wish. You can set the minimum price and the users can mention an affordable price and get the ebook. You could also set $3 or $5 if you think you can make some money with your solution.

If not add the price as 0 and select the option as Pay as you wish. The users can just enter 0 and claim your ebook.

Note: This is free and you don’t need to pay any price to gumroad when you are selling for free, but gumroad will take a small slice like 3.5% if you are selling for few dollars.

It’s tough to generate free traffic to affiliate products when you are new to the industry.

The most important thing people forget is the targetted traffic.

You can get 1000 visits from a source but if it doesn’t bring the targeted audience, it will just be waste of time. 

How good it will be if we get a targeted audience for free.

Yes, can get this free for free with little effort.

So without wasting any time let’s get into the method.

Strategy: The strategy is to create multiple accounts and like on tweets and comments on Twitter handles that are speaking about the product you like to promote.

Step 1: The most important Step 

Create a unique Twitter name. In order to succeed in this strategy, you need to create a unique Twitter name.

Say you are selling fitness products on weightloss create names like: This is how I lost weight, Simplest way to lose weight.

This will tempt your target audience to have a look at your profile.

Step 2: Creative Display Picture 

Like the user name come up with a creative and unique display picture.

Step 3: Last Ten Tweets

When the user visits your profile, he will see the bio and your last ten (or twenty tweets). So before you start make sure you have great information.  Could visit authority websites in your niche, add the latest news, and inspirational and value quotes in your latest tweets.

Step 4: Set up Bio

This is one of the important steps.  Try to add a clickbait description with a link in the Bio. Try to raise the curiosity in your description. This will get more clicks to your website and sales pages.

Numbers will get your more clicks. Selling a book on how to make money on Instagram try like $3k in 2 months on Instagram and this is how I made.

You can add several links to the bio. so when you tweeting on fitness niche or sub-niche weight loss, you don’t need to focus on just one product. Try you using link.tree and you could add several links with description.

Step 5: Lets Play 

We are all set and we could start to hit the like button on tweets and comments of your target audience.

Search your keyword on Twitter and try to focus on people with less than 1000 followers.  When followers are less, they will receive less or no notifications. So when you like their comment or tweet, your notification will gain more attention. 

Try to come up with different keywords to search on Twitter. When you selling an ebook on how to make money on Instagram, don’t just focus on the keyword Instagram. Your target audience will also include people’s tweets about passion income, work online, work from home, part-time work, etc.

You could also come up with different accounts. Note that you could change your Twitter handle anytime, so when you are selling a different product you could change the name of the handle and links in the bio. Don’t try to shift the niche. If you are selling in the fitness niche try selling products only on the fitness niche in the account.
